Activities are things you plan to do. They may be things like making a follow-up call to a customer, sending a sample they requested, or renewing a yearly maintenance contract. Use this feature to remember important to-do items scheduled for future completion.
In TeamGram CRM, you can easily assign activities to your team members or yourself, view upcoming activities, see if any activities are overdue, update the status and progress of your activities as you work on them, and get notified when an activity you assigned to someone else is completed, ensuring things get done on time.
Any TeamGram CRM user can create activities and assign them to themselves or to any other user in their company.
Accessing The Activities Section
To access the list of all activities available for your viewing or create new ones, click on the Activities tab on the top menu bar. If you can’t see Activities on the menu bar, click the More option.
Creating an Activity
There are three main ways to create activities:
- Most record types like opportunities, quotes, contacts, etc have activities sub-sections in them which can be used to quickly create activities linked to them.
- You can create an activity from a note in the news feed by clicking on the add activity link under it. This can be useful to quickly assign follow-up tasks after a meeting.
- You can also create an activity by clicking the New activity button in the activities page.
All of these methods will display a new activity form.
Setting a Reminder
TeamGram CRM can send an automated reminder email to the assignee of an activity at a time you specify in advance. To create a reminder, click on an activity, then click the bell symbol in the activity form. Enter the time you want the reminder email to be sent and save.
